Wow! I started this post thinking, not much has happened this month. I thought, "just cleaning up PRs and some other stuff". When I saw the monthly Insights graph I was even more convinced, but as I started ordering the commits and writing about what has happened I realized I couldn't have been wronger. coreBOS doesn't seize to surprise me. Enjoy!
A normal month of steady fixes and changes mostly coming from external projects that need coreBOS to do some new things or find some error in the functionality. The workflow system gets a lot of attention on it's way to another uphaul. Also preparing our way to PHP 7.4 which will be released soon. Enjoy!
The purpose of this blog post is to help everyone have an empowering and welcoming first experience as they start contributing to the coreBOS Open Source project!
Have a look at the wiki documentation if you want to read a more detailed information about setting up your coreBOS development env...
Hacktoberfest brought a bunch of interesting features along with the normal coreBOS Beat
August is usually a slow month and this summer I have been looking in another direction, learning some interesting technology like Apache Kafka, graph databases and also dedicating some time to studying oWASP and security issues, but there have still been some interesting things going on as coreBOS relentlessly keeps evolving.
